Interview with Harry Christophers

Founder and conductor of The Sixteen, a regular guest conductor of symphony orchestras and opera companies around the world, Harry Christophers is artistic director of the Handel and Haydn Society in Boston and also principal guest conductor of the City of Granada Orchestra.

He has conducted The Sixteen and their orchestra around the world, earning a distinguished reputation for his work in Renaissance, Baroque and 20th century music.

His numerous awards include an Early Music Gramophone and the Classical Brit Award; the album IKON was nominated for a 2007 Grammy. In 2000 he toured English cathedrals with music from the pre-Reformation era. Harry Christophers was awarded a CBE.
